Privacy
The short version: I only collect what you give me directly, I only use it to reply to you, and I never sell or share it. Long version below.
Who I am
This site is operated by Fenwick Builds (Ross Fenwick). I'm the only person with access to anything you submit. Email: ross@fenwickbuilds.com.
What I collect
Two things, and only if you choose to give them:
- Intake form inputs — your name, email, company, and a few details about your business. Used to send you a follow-up and book a call.
- Direct emails — anything you send me via email, plus the metadata that comes with it (subject, time, etc.).
I use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel) that counts page views in aggregate — it never profiles you, sets cookies, or tracks you across sites. No ad pixels, no third-party trackers.
How I use it
Only to do the thing you contacted me about. Reply to you, book a call, deliver an audit if you hire me. I don't use your information to train AI models, and I don't share it with any third party except where required by law.
Where it lives
Form submissions arrive in my email inbox. Audit deliverables are stored in a private cloud workspace until the engagement closes, then archived. Nothing about your business gets shared with anyone outside this conversation without your explicit consent.
How long I keep it
Inquiry emails: indefinitely unless you ask me to delete them. Audit working files: 12 months after delivery, then deleted (unless you've asked me to retain them for future work).
Your privacy rights
You can ask me to:
- Show you what data I hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it all
- Export it in a portable format
- Stop using it for anything specific
Email me and I'll action it within 30 days. If you're not happy with how I handle a request, you can raise it with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site doesn't currently set any cookies. If that changes (e.g., if I add cookie-based analytics), I'll add a consent banner and update this page first.
Your browser may still store standard things like font preferences and local cache from Google Fonts (used to render the typeface on this site). That's not something I set or read.
Terms of engagement
If you hire me for a Snapshot, Audit, or any implementation work, these apply.
What you're paying for
An audit (1-day or 1-week) is an advisory deliverable: a written assessment with recommendations. It is not a guarantee of business outcomes. If you act on a recommendation and it doesn't work the way you expected, I won't refund the audit. What I will do is talk through what happened and help you adjust.
Pricing & payment
Audits are fixed-fee, agreed in writing before any work starts. Snapshot: pay after the call. Audit: 50% on kickoff, 50% on delivery. Implementation work is scoped and quoted separately.
Invoices are issued in the agreed currency, with any applicable taxes added.
Cancellation & refunds
Cancel a booked Snapshot or Audit up to 48 hours before kickoff for a full refund. After kickoff: pro-rata refund based on work completed. If you're not happy with a delivered audit, tell me — I'll work to make it right before any refund discussion.
Audit IP
Whatever I write for you, you own. The roadmap, the recommendations, the architectural designs — all yours to use, share, or take to other consultants. No lock-in, no royalties.
Liability
My total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees you've paid me for that engagement. I carry professional indemnity insurance for larger engagements where required.
Confidentiality
By default, everything you tell me about your business stays between us. I'll happily sign your NDA before any sensitive discussions or document sharing. If you don't have one, I have a standard mutual NDA I can send.
I never name clients publicly without explicit written permission. Case studies, scenarios, and testimonials currently on this site are composite examples based on the kinds of outcomes this work typically produces — not specific real clients. They're clearly labelled as such on the pages they appear. Real case studies and testimonials are added as clients approve them publicly.
Contact
